The FM-200 zero Ozone Depleting Potential (ODP) fire suppressant supplied and installed by GIELLE is now well established as the single most effective Halon 1301 replacement. Argonite – fighting fires nature’s way
More and more companies are today ensuring that environmental considerations play a major part when selecting a fire fighting system. So much so that Argonite, which consists entirely of naturally occurring gasses, has long been the solution of first choice for many industrial and commercial building occupiers.
The line of high expansion foam generators is based on Gielle's highly successful experience in fire fighting systems. High expansion foam systems have been installed in engine rooms, pump rooms and ro-ro spaces on ships, in turbine enclosures on offshore installations, for protection of airport hangars, cable culvert, storage facilities for dangerous goods and production spaces in industrial buildings.
Certain building and processes demand the earliest possible warning of a fire. The reliance that reliance that businesses today place on their computer and telephone installations means that response must be rapid and dependable. It is in such instances that the unique VESDA LaserPLUS a rating smoke detection system plays an invaluble role.

In compliance with the B.F.P.S.A. Code of Practice, enclosures protected against fire by gas extinguishing systems must be provided with a means of extracting the gas or post – fire atmosphere to open air.
Independent, normally closed, mechanical ventilation with extraction provides the most efficient solution and for liquefiable gases with high boiling points, such as FM-200, the room atmosphere should be vented from low level.
